The Slicks Design Process
We know how important a vehicle wrap is to business owners, and we know that for some of you, this is your first experience and therefore a big deal. We know you have questions and we want this to be a hassle-free and personalized experience, so we took the time to outline our design process to prepare you for your vehicle wrap. At Slicks Graphics—only a short drive from Burlington County, NJ—our designers know how important it is for your vehicle wrap to have a visually appealing design. Your new striking design will help with your company’s marketing strategy. Our team will be in direct contact with you throughout the entire process. We work to alleviate any concerns you may have. Our goal is to and make sure you are completely confident in choosing Slicks Graphics for your next vehicle wrap in the Burlington and Mercer County, New Jersey area.
Step 1: Complete and return a copy of our design questionnaire
The first thing we ask is that you complete our Slicks Graphics design questionnaire prior to your consultation with our designer. This will provide us with all the information we need to get started on your vehicle wrap. When filling out the questionnaire, it is crucial to be as detailed as possible when answering the questions. For example, if there are certain colors you prefer or you have a specific vision in mind, please include that in your responses. Any information you can provide is helpful. Inspiration for your design can be sparked from even the tiniest detail.
This is your chance to tell us if you want specific elements in your wrap design. Tell us everything, such as listing certain products or services, pictures from your website, or a background texture. Keep in mind that nobody knows your company better than you, which is why you are the one who will be in direct contact with the designer.
Included with the design questionnaire, we ask that you send any artwork (preferably in vector format files if available) as well as square, straight-on shots of each side of your vehicle. These images will help the designer to correctly mock up your design in a way that you can see an accurate representation of how it will look on your vehicle.
Please send the completed questionnaire and any additional files to firstname.lastname@example.org, or upload them to the file upload located at the top of our website.
Step 2: Consult with one of our designers to discuss project goals while waiting for a first generation design concept
Now that you’ve completed the design questionnaire, the designer has more of a direction to take with your vehicle wrap. We will invite you to consult with the designer directly as we work on your vehicle wrap design. At this point, the designer focuses on your company goals and what you hope to obtain through your vehicle wrap. Aside from advertising, do you want your wrap design focused on the launch of a new product or opening of a new location? Are you just trying to increase your local advertising in areas you’re present? Whatever your reason may be for the vehicle wrap, our designer will help you translate thoughts into concepts. We want to give you the most effective vehicle wrap design for your business.
If you’re looking to include certain images you want but don’t have access to them, we can purchase high quality pictures to include in your wrap. Our designers are also able to produce original artwork, depending on your needs. We will prepare a few design options for your vehicle wrap, so you can see a variety of possibilities for your vision. If you have specific questions about choosing elements or what will be more effective, our team will be happy to assist you.
Step 3: Test print. Pending final layout approval, we will provide a sample of your approved graphics printed on the materials selected for your vehicle wrap.
Once your design is approved, we will perform a test print so that you can approve the final colors. At this point in the design process triple-check spelling, positions of elements, and colors. Make sure that everything is what you envisioned or specified. The test print will show you exactly how the wrap will appear on your vehicle. We ask that you approve colors in the sunlight, as colors appear differently in indoor lighting, and since your vehicle will be outside most of the time. This will be printed on the material of your choice, as well as laminated with your desired finish. Once you sign off on the test print, we can begin producing your vehicle wrap!
