Bus Wraps And Graphics

Designing and Installing Bus Wraps In The Greater Philadelphia Area

There are thousands of vehicles passing by you each and every day. Buses are among a large group of these vehicles that if wrapped, can tower over a ton of traffic, becoming a great way to promote your business. 1800-Gambler and Doylestown Health are great examples of companies that utilize bus wraps to help convey a message to thousands of viewers each and every day that bus wrap is on the road.

Our vinyl graphics are vibrant and durable against everyday wear and weather. The window perforated vinyl allows the windows to still be seen through for passengers but also have your message uninterrupted for viewers on the outside. Doors and windows are not only still functional but also seamlessly blended into the design so not only does your bus look good but still works like you need it to.

Our 3M vehicle wrap installers are dedicated to delivering high quality bus wrap installations for each and every bus we wrap inside our facility. Frequently Asked Questions

The opportunities are endless with a new bus wrap. Vinyl wraps have changed and will continue to change the marketing potential of your business, so give us a call today to get started on your next wrap!

A bus wrap is an adhesive backed vinyl film that is equipped with a removable adhesive designed to conform to a variety of different surfaces including vehicles, walls and more! Our vinyl graphics can conform to any vehicle. This includes: cars, vans, trucks, trailers, buses, boats, golf carts, etc. The installed vinyl will not only make your vehicle look amazing but also won’t damage the paint beneath!

Vehicle advertising remains one of the most effective methods to spread brand awareness and reach new audiences. According to the Transportation Advertising Council, a division of the (OAAA), vehicle wrap generates between 30,000-70,000 impressions every single day. Unlike billboards, your only paying for this ad one time!

When selecting a vehicle wrap, it’s crucial to consider the intended lifespan to optimize both product performance and cost. Wraps vary, from short-term options lasting up to 12 months, to high-endurance wraps that can last 3-5 years with proper care, as well as intermediate options.

The two main types of wrap films are high-performance cast vinyl and intermediate calendared vinyl. Cast vinyl, created by pouring PVC film into a mold and enhancing with plasticizers, is highly conformable. This makes it ideal for complex coverage, like wrapping around a door handle, and helps prevent shrinking and air pockets. Cast vinyl wraps are more durable, generally lasting between 3-5 years, and potentially over 5 years with maintenance.

In contrast, calendared vinyl films are more budget-friendly, saving about 20-25% compared to high-performance wraps. However, they’re less durable and only rated for 1-2 years. The production process involves stretching the film, akin to rolling out pizza dough, which can make the film more prone to failure when applied to recessed areas or curves on a vehicle.

Choosing between these films involves a balance between cost savings and longevity, with cast vinyl offering greater durability and calendared vinyl providing initial cost reductions but a higher chance of quicker degradation.

Depending on the type of vehicle your looking to get wrapped, the cost does fluctuate to a degree along with the grade of the film you are looking to purchase.  To better explain this, lets look at a couple of different examples.  First we will look at a Ford Transit Connect, a smaller utility van in comparison to the full size transit.  Paired with a high performance wrap and a new design built from one of our creative designers, you would be looking at roughly $2,200.00 before tax without any roof coverage or bumper coverage.

This would mean outside of the usually already black textured plastic bumpers (not wrap friendly) or the roof that most of your potential customers would never see anyway, everything else on the vehicle would be completely covered in your new vehicle wrap.  For DOT regulations and your own safety, we are not allowed to cover the front driver, passenger or windshield areas of the vehicle.  All other glass areas can be covered with an optional perforated window graphic film.  Larger vans with a wheelbase around 136’’ holding similar  coverage run closer to the $3,200-$4,500.00 range depending on the final size and coverage of that vehicle.

Our second example is calculated on a Ford Focus.  Believe it or not, not only will the painted bumpers require coverage to avoid clashing with your new design, but so will the door handles and most likely mirrors and even the roof, as these cars sit much lower to the ground allowing most standing civilians to be able to see the entire car.  This ends up adding time and material to the cost of this car wrap, bringing the average cost up to the $2,800.00-$3,400.00 range using a high performance film.

There are alternative films with an intermediate grade performance guarantee for those looking to save money, but you start to sacrifice performance (conform-ability to compound curves like handles and bumpers) along with age expectancy, as these films typically last half of the lifetime of the high performance vehicle wrap films.

There vehicles have an obligation to transport either products, passengers, or even employees to various job sites each day they want to continue to stay in business.  Why not stand out in this process, extending thousands of impressions to potential new clients through a vibrant new vehicle wrap.  This opportunity is the ultimate way for you to accelerate finding new leads, and creating opportunity.

Lets take a local plumber for example.  In this case, we have a smaller operation with one service truck that is newer to the plumbing industry just getting started as their business networks with all of their friends and family to find new plumbing jobs.  Imagine in this situation, this outfit has a job at a location where hundreds of locals pass by the location of this job each and every day with an average of 3 days to complete a plumbing project.

If there is nothing on this blank white van, then how likely is this plumber going to find new work simultaneously to working on someones toilet for example.  If this plumber gets there new van wrapped with a catchy, colorful design, than while that van sits in their customers driveway, each day all those locals pass by, they are taking notice to this new plumbing company and the services their new van wrap is promoting to these people who when you least expect it, also need or know someone that needs to find a plumber to assist them with a new project.

This cycle continuously helps local business owners promote and build market share within their companies.  Unlike traditional billboards that carry monthly reoccurring bills for you to rent their space, you get to own this mobile billboard that you can totally control when its gathering impressions and where. A bonus to gathering new leads while on the job is also the impressions you will collect while your van is at the local hardware store picking up supplies, or even as you fill up the gas tank at the local station. In addition, we offer strong warranty programs from 3M and Avery including 3M MCS and Avery ICS warranties on applicable products.

At this point, almost everyone has seen or at least heard of a vehicle wrap to some degree or another.  Wraps are everywhere in today’s busy world of big graphics and advertising. Wraps give you ultimate coverage when applying them to all different types of vehicles including cars, trucks, trailers, buses and even walls. Next time you head out to the store, look out for really colorful vehicles that send a message to their audiences through graphics. These vehicles stand out from the regular solid color cars passing by.  You will be surprised once you start looking for these wraps, how you wont be able to run errands without seeing a handful of wrapped vehicles.
